About Us
The Energy Huntsville Initiative was launched by the City of Huntsville's Mayor, Tommy Battle, to protect the space and missile systems industrial technology base by focusing Huntsville's intellectual capital and business acumen on the growing energy market sector. Energy Huntsville Corporation, a 501(c) 6 organization, was formed to implement the Mayor's vision. The organization is a volunteer based, non-profit that is deeply involved in the energy market sector for energy companies or companies redirecting their offerings toward the energy sector.
