A New Leash On Life

About Us

A New Leash On Life has a goal of saving all of Alabama’s homeless animals by reducing the number of pets killed in shelters and of homeless pets in our communities. We work diligently to create a no-kill community in Huntsville. We have led the way with many life-saving programs that our city has embraced. While we celebrate this milestone, we recognize that our work is not complete. Many rural Alabama communities still need our support. They have access to very few resources so we are focused on helping those rural pets, while still supporting Huntsville.
