CAJA of Madison County (Court Appointed Juvenile Advocate Program)
- Association & Organizations-Non-Profit
The mission of the Court Appointed Juvenile Advocate (CAJA) Program of Madison County is to provide well trained and closely supervised volunteers to serve as advocates for children as their cases progress through the child welfare and judicial systems. Our program recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers who advocate on behalf of children who are caught in the devastating cycle of severe abuse and neglect and have open cases in the Juvenile Court.
At any given time, there are almost 7,000 children in foster care in the state of Alabama.
We are directly across from the Madison County Courthouse in the Elbert Parsons Law Library.
