Overview of Funding Options
After completion of financial reporting, you will need to know what funding options are available! This workshop will include an overview of funding options for small businesses.
Topics will include:
- Traditional commercial lending
- SBA loans
- Non-traditional lending
- Venture capital and government programs
Presenter:
Heather Wright, Small Business Advisor/ Finance Specialist
Small Business Development Center, University of Alabama in Huntsville
Heather Wright finished her undergraduate at Auburn University in Business Administration with focuses in Finance and Human Resource Management; and her Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of North Alabama. The last eleven years, post-undergraduate; she has worked for many different lending institutions that provide commercial and consumer lending products, where she thrived in loan processing, sales, and management. Wright is also a successful small business owner and her business was awarded multiple small business awards, and published in multiple publications for their knowledge in that particular market sector. She provides the SBDC with loan packaging knowledge to aid in capital access for small businesses, as well as, strategic business knowledge to assist in successfully building and maintaining small businesses.
