Expanding our mission to have a Thrift Store right in Gurley will allow The CARE Center to partner better with our neighbors. Of course, we have had our Gurley neighbors in our hearts since we were founded in 2000. Just last year alone, The CARE Center was able to provide about 100 Bags of Blessings (weekend food) every Friday to students who are on free breakfast and lunch at school, 10 families received financial crisis assistance, and 94 students received CARE Packs filled with school supplies. In addition, every month we see an average of 64 families each month who are struggling with hunger crisis in our family food pantry. 

It is a joy to be able to serve and work with the Gurley community in this way and we will continue to do so. We look forward to creating stronger ties and bringing more services and ministries to the area. Please join us in this prayer as we seek God in our vision to grow our mission and all that we do to love our neighbors as ourselves. May it be all for His glory!
