Downtown Huntsville’s Newest Community Invites Residents, Public to Celebrate
 
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – With roots dating back to the old cotton row days, Huntsville has revitalized its historic downtown core by successfully combining its rich Southern heritage with innovative modern flourishes, like the new Artisan Twickenham Square development. The brand new apartment community will host a Grand Opening celebration on Thursday, Sept. 4 to commemorate the moment in the reawakening of downtown Huntsville.
 
The community-wide event will take place from 5-7 p.m., and is slated to include great local food and drink, live entertainment, an interactive photo booth, fun giveaways and more. Attendees will have the opportunity to enter to win door prizes including gift cards to area businesses and restaurants like Asian Rim, Publix Grocery and Pottery Barn, as well as a Fitbit and an iPad mini.
 
While enjoying the modern space, guests will sample hors d'oeuvres prepared by The Cotton Row Restaurant’s Executive Chef James Boyce, along with a selection of craft beers provided by Alabama Crown. Attendees will also have the opportunity to tour the luxury apartments, get to know current residents and talk with the property management team. Should partygoers choose to sign a lease during the event, they will receive $200 off their first month’s rent. Valet parking will be provided, and the celebration is free and open to the public.
 
Prior to the Grand Opening, the community will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony from 4-5 p.m., where city and project officials will recognize the importance of the development to the downtown Huntsville community.
 
“We’re excited for the public to enjoy the space and view the final results of this long-awaited project,” said Sam Yeager, a Huntsville native and principal of Bristol Development Group. “You can feel the new energy surrounding downtown Huntsville, and this development is at the forefront of that revitalization. We hope everyone will come celebrate the grand opening and the strides our downtown area has made in recent years.”
 
Artisan Twickenham Square is a joint venture project of Bristol Development, PGM Properties, and Northwestern Mutual. Twickenham Square includes a Publix grocery store, Homewood Suites hotel, several restaurants, two parking garages and more, and has become a hotspot for young professionals, empty nesters or anyone looking for a low-maintenance lifestyle with all of the amenities offered by a luxury community.
