MEMBER EVENT: Woodworking Class - Fundamentals of Sharpening
Sharpening is a fundamental woodworking skill that is often overlooked. Mastering this skill can mean the difference between woodworking drudgery and enjoyment. By keeping your tools sharp not only will your results improve, but you will work easier and safer!
This lecture and practice class covers sharpening theory, equipment, and methods. Students will construct an inexpensive jig for use in their shop, and practice putting an edge on one of their own tools to see just how easy it really is.
