MEMBER EVENT: UAH Theatre: Eurydice
Eurydice is Sarah Ruhl's imaginative adaption of the classic myth of Orpheus and Eurydice from its heroine's perspective. After Eurydice dies on her wedding day, she descends into the watery underworld and finds her deceased father. Having no recollection of the life she left behind, Eurydice struggles to remember Orpheus, as he struggles to reunite with his wife. This tragic comedy is an emotional retelling exploring joy, love, and loss.
