MEMBER EVENT: Scales & Scutes Fun Day
Come wiggle and squirm your way into the world of reptiles with the Cook Museum of Natural Science! Guests will learn about what makes a reptile a reptile, their unique characteristics, and the reptile diversity found in Alabama.
Visit with some of our reptile animal ambassadors like the diamondback terrapin and eastern indigo snake. Visitors can learn about alligators and crocodiles during the Science on the Spot presentations, and there will be activity and craft stations.
Schedule:
- Animal Ambassadors, 10 a.m.–3 p.m.
- Monarch Hall Activity and Craft Stations, 10 a.m.–3 p.m.
- Monarch Hall Alligators & Crocodiles Science on the Spot, 10 a.m., 11 a.m., Noon, 1 p.m., 2 p.m. (Migratory Hall)
