MEMBER EVENT: Quality Deer Management Workshop
The Alabama Cooperative Extension System will be conducting a 5.5-hour white-tailed deer management workshop. This program will cater to the landowner or manager who is interested in learning more about white-tailed deer and improving both their management strategy and property’s habitat in order to attract, hold, and harvest better quality deer.
Topics will include:
- deer biology and habitat requirements
- the role of food plots and predators in their management
- advantages and instructions related to prescribed burning
- quality deer management techniques
- habitat enhancements
- discussions regarding, predators, disease, and baiting
Registration includes a seat at the workshop, lunch, and printed presentation materials and related articles.
