Public Lecture by Dr. Maha Nassar:
“Brother's Apart: Palestinian Citizens of Israel and the Arab World”
The UAH Department of History will host Dr. Maha Nassar (Associate Professor of Modern Middle East History and Islamic Studies at the University of Arizona) for a lecture on her most recent book, entitled “Brother’s Apart: Palestinian Citizens of Israel and the Arab World” (Stanford University Press, 2017). The lecture is free and open to the public. A reception will follow.
This event is sponsored by the Department of History, the Women's and Gender Studies Program, the Distinguished Speaker’s Series in the Office of the Provost, the Humanities Center in the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, and the Office of Diversity Equity and Inclusion.
