MEMBER EVENT: Out Loud! featuring Kimberly Casey

There will be an open mic for all wishing to participate, where speakers will be able to have 5 minutes to share their work, or a cover poem of their choosing. Then we will have a half an hour feature with Kimberly Casey!

Kimberly Casey is a Massachusetts native, though she has lived most of her life nomadically. Currently, she resides in Huntsville, where she works for Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment – a place so creative, colorful and inspiring that this tiny traveler has decided to plant roots. She is the founder of Out Loud!, and will now be releasing her first ever self published poetry book titled ‘Learning to Love Anchors’. She wants you to know you are a beautiful, shiny, wonderful thing, and your voice deserves to be heard.

Out Loud is dedicated to fostering new voices and encouraging participation, so even if you have never been to an open mic before, please come on down and hear some new interesting voices and share!
