MEMBER EVENT: Liz Hurley Ribbon Run

Join Huntsville Hospital Foundation for the 14th annual Liz Hurley Ribbon Run! The 5K begins with the Survivors' Walk at 10 a.m. Ribbon Run proceeds benefit the Liz Hurley Breast Cancer Fund, which has raised almost $3 million to support breast cancer awareness programs and to equip Huntsville and Madison Hospitals’ Breast Centers with the latest diagnostic technology.

Proceeds from this year’s run will be used to purchase a second 3D tomosynthesis mammography machine. With this technology, multiple 3-dimensional pictures of the breast are taken, making breast cancer easier to detect, particularly in dense breast tissue.
