MEMBER EVENT: Facts Behind the Vaping Cloud
Description
This program will alert you to the dangers of the epidemic rise of vaping especially among teenagers, and to raise awareness among parents, grandparents, teachers, and those who work with young people. This Stanford University-based curriculum will describe the various types of e-cigarettes, reveal the high levels of addictive nicotine and its harm to the entire body.
It will point out the dangers of toxic chemicals in flavored vapes; and the increased sensitivity and severity of Covid-19 and health issues for those who vape or smoke. It also will uncover the well-funded marketing efforts by Big Tobacco/Big Vape; and show how Alabama Quitline offers proven ways to quit smoking and vaping.
