Seabrook Solutions, LLC
Lang Sims is the CEO and majority owner of Seabrook Solutions, LLC, a role she has held since May 2014. Under her leadership, Seabrook has grown from a small team into a thriving national organization of more than 350 employees, supporting government customers across the aerospace and defense sectors.
Sims' expertise spans company growth, operations, infrastructure, and leadership. She has led major internal initiatives at Seabrook Solutions, building scalable systems, strengthening compliance frameworks, and streamlining operations while maintaining an agile, people focused culture. Her hands on leadership style and commitment to operational excellence have been central to the company’s growth and sustained success. In 2023, Seabrook Solutions secured the largest contract in its history, a $200 million Navy award through its joint venture with Amentum, accelerating rapid company growth. Sims led the expansion of the HR function and corporate infrastructure to support new contracts and a rapidly growing workforce nationwide. Under her leadership, the company has also earned national recognition, including being named NASA’s Mentor Protégé of the Year, further underscoring her impact on both business performance and industry leadership.
Sims was recently named the Alabama District U.S. Small Business Administration’s 2026 Business Person of the Year.
She believes strongly in leading by example and is known for rolling up her sleeves alongside her team to solve problems and implement solutions. She is also an advocate for individuals on the Autism spectrum, working to create awareness and promote inclusion. Sims resides on the family farm in Danville, AL, with her husband of 20 years, Jake, and their 17-year-old son, Ty.
