WEDC Huntsville Opens Applications for 2026 Membership Class

(Huntsville, AL) The Women’s Economic Development Council of Huntsville (WEDC) has officially opened applications for its 2026 membership class, continuing its mission to connect and develop women leaders across the Huntsville community.

WEDC membership is by invitation and requires candidates to demonstrate leadership experience, community engagement, and alignment with the organization’s mission. Candidates must also attend a minimum of three Leadership Development Meetings within the past year and secure sponsorship from current members.

Key Dates:

• Application Period: March 1 – August 15, 2026
• Sponsorship Declaration Deadline: August 15, 2026
• Final Application Deadline: August 31, 2026

Applications will be reviewed by the Membership Committee and Board of Directors, with acceptance notifications scheduled for October 12, 2026. New members will be inducted in November.

WEDC continues to play a vital role in fostering leadership, mentorship, and professional growth for professional women in Huntsville and North Alabama.
