MartinFed Announces Acquisition by Beth and Devin Whitaker. Building the Next Phase of Growth

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (July 14, 2026) - MartinFederal Consulting, LLC (MartinFed), a leading provider of cybersecurity, software development, mission operations, and information technology solutions supporting national security missions, today announced its acquisition by longtime government contracting (GovCon) executives and entrepreneurs Beth and Devin Whitaker.

The acquisition closed on July 6, 2026. Beth Whitaker has assumed the role of Chairperson and Managing Member, and Devin Whitaker has been appointed Chief Executive Officer. Together, they bring more than 80 years of combined leadership experience across the federal government and the GovCon industry, positioning MartinFed for continued growth while preserving the company's culture, technical excellence, and customer-focused approach.

President Ted Martin and MartinFed's executive leadership team will remain in place, ensuring continuity for employees, customers, and industry partners while supporting the company's next phase of growth.

"I have tremendous respect and confidence in Beth and Devin, and I am excited to continue working alongside them as we build on MartinFed's strong foundation," said Ted Martin, President of MartinFed. "They understand what makes this company successful - our people, our customers, and our commitment to delivering highly technical solutions. I look forward to continuing our mission together as we enter this next chapter."

David Mathis, who acquired MartinFed in 2021, led the company through a period of significant growth by expanding its technical capabilities, strengthening customer relationships, and building a scalable foundation for long-term success.
"The right people are critical to the success of any business," said Mathis. "Together, we built a company defined by exceptional people, trusted customer relationships, and an unwavering commitment to mission success. I leave knowing MartinFed is in capable hands and look forward to watching Beth, Devin, and the entire team continue building on that legacy."

"Long before we became owners, we became believers," said Beth Whitaker, Chairperson and Managing Member. "We believe in MartinFed's people, culture, and mission. We are honored to join this exceptional team and are committed to building on the strong foundation that has made the company successful."

"Our responsibility is simple," said Devin Whitaker, Chief Executive Officer. "Invest in our people, serve our customers with excellence, and execute with discipline every day. By staying true to those principles, we will continue creating long-term value for our employees, customers, and partners."

MartinFed will continue operating from its headquarters in Huntsville, Alabama, with additional offices in Starkville, Mississippi, and Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The acquisition will not affect customer support, contract performance, or employee operations as the company continues delivering cybersecurity, software development, mission operations, and information technology solutions supporting defense, intelligence, federal law enforcement, space, and civilian agencies.
