Educational and Community Strategies Tapped to Present at 2021 National Summit for Educational Equity

Educational and Community Strategies will present Underrepresented Students' Role in Building a Diverse Workforce at this year’s National Summit for Educational Equity. The summit is happening virtually April 26-29, including pre-conference sessions occurring April 20-22. Hosted by the National Alliance for Partnerships in Equity, this year’s summit theme is “Advocates for Equity”, with workshops focused on the following strands:

  • Equitable Learning Environments in a COVID-19 Reality
  • Access and Equity in CTE and STEM for Underrepresented Students
  • Foster a Diverse Workforce
  • Public Policy
Along with Educational and Community Strategies, presenters include Dr. Gail C. Christopher, D.N. delivering the opening keynote on Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation in Education, Catherine Imperatore on State and Local Strategies for Engaging Special and Underserved Populations, and many more field experts. 
 
This national conference focuses on educational equity and social justice at the intersections of race, ethnicity, ability, gender identity, and sexual orientation, and socioeconomics.
