Duotech Services Celebrates Grand Opening of New 25,000 sq. ft. Huntsville Facility
Huntsville, AL — [August 6, 2026] — Duotech Services is proud to announce the official ribbon cutting and opening of its new 25,000 square foot facility in Huntsville, Alabama. This milestone represents a $4 million investment in the Huntsville community and will create 50 well-paying jobs in one of the nation’s most dynamic defense and technology hubs.
The new facility will support Duotech’s expanding role in the test, repair, and remanufacture of electronic systems and subsystems on defense platforms, with a special focus on missile and missile defense support. This work plays a crucial role in preserving mission-critical legacy technology for U.S. and allied warfighters.
Duotech’s capabilities are unique within the Huntsville region. The company specializes in mitigating electronic component obsolescence and delivering rapid, cost-effective repair and sustainment support—often stepping in when original equipment manufacturers’ aftermarket support systems fall short and the availability of technical design data is lacking. By keeping legacy systems mission-ready, Duotech helps clients reduce downtime, extend platform life, and avoid costly replacements.
“Our expansion into Huntsville marks an important and exciting chapter for Duotech,” said Dan Bader, CEO of Duotech Services. “This investment strengthens our ability to support the nation’s defense mission while creating meaningful, high-quality jobs for the local community. Huntsville’s talent, infrastructure, and deep connection to missile and missile defense technology make it the perfect home for this new facility. We’re proud to contribute to the region’s growth and to provide solutions that keep critical systems in the fight.”
With the opening of its Huntsville location, Duotech Services reinforces its commitment to delivering innovative, reliable, and cost-effective sustainment solutions for defense customers worldwide.
“Protecting our national security and growing our nation’s defense capabilities is a critical aspect of our manufacturing sector and Alabama is proud to add Duotech to our bench of industry innovators,” said Alabama Commerce Secretary Ellen McNair.
“Duotech’s investment here strengthens our position as a global leader in aerospace and defense, brings quality jobs to our citizens and enhances our overall economy. We know Duotech will find in Alabama the workforce, community partners and infrastructure to be successful.”
Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle added, “As opportunities evolve across the defense, aerospace and technology sectors, companies are choosing Huntsville for the strength of our workforce and a community defined by innovation and collaboration. Duotech’s decision to expand in Huntsville reflects the confidence industry leaders place in our proven ability to support mission focused work and sustain long term growth.”
This announcement serves to boost Huntsville’s growing economy. “Duotech’s decision to open a new facility in Huntsville highlights the confidence companies have in our market,” commented Huntsville/Madison County Chamber President & CEO Chip Cherry. “As we continue to grow, new job opportunities and investment have a significant impact on the strength of the entire community.”
