Calhoun Community College is Now Accepting 2020-2021 Scholarship Applications

Calhoun Community College has now opened the application process for its 2020-2021 scholarship awards. Scholarships are competitively awarded based on criteria such as academic success, demonstrated leadership, community service, and financial need. There are several categories of awards available, including institutional scholarships and donor-funded awards; the deadline to apply is February 1, 2020.

Calhoun Interim President Dr. Joe Burke noted the importance of providing scholarships to qualified students, stating that, “Through our various scholarship opportunities, we are able to offer financial support to many of our very deserving students to help them achieve their academic and career goals. We encourage all current and incoming Calhoun students to apply for these scholarship awards.”

To begin the scholarship process, interested students should complete an application for admission to the college with the Calhoun Admissions Office. From there, the student must complete and submit a Federal Application For Student Aid (FAFSA) application. One completed scholarship application is required and will qualify the student for consideration of all Calhoun scholarship opportunities. This information is located on the Calhoun website at
