Bradley Named a 2024 ‘Tipping the Scales’ Firm by Diversity & Flexibility Alliance
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (Oct. 31, 2024) – Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP has been named a 2024 “Tipping the Scales” firm by the Diversity & Flexibility Alliance for having 50% or more women in their 2024 U.S.-based new partner class. This is the second consecutive year that the firm has received this recognition.
The “Tipping the Scales” honorees were announced at the Alliance’s 2024 Annual Conference on October 24 in Washington, D.C. and will be recognized at the New Partner Report Summit on November 18, a virtual event sharing insights and trends from the 2024 report.
“Bradley is proud of our diverse culture, which includes supporting and promoting leadership among our female attorneys,” said Bradley Chairman of the Board and Managing Partner Jonathan M. Skeeters. “We are honored to once again be recognized among this group of firms that share our commitment to working towards a more representative legal industry as a whole.”
In January 2024, Bradley announced that 12 attorneys had been elevated to partner, including six women, as well as one woman being elevated to counsel. In 2023, eight of the firm’s 15 newly elevated partners were women.
The Diversity & Flexibility Alliance is a think tank dedicated to transforming organizational cultures and has been researching the best practices and advising and collaborating with law firms for more than a decade. The annual New Partner Report compiles and analyzes publicly released data from members and the nation’s largest and top-grossing law firms, focusing on the gender breakdown of attorneys promoted to partnership. Of the nearly 200 law firms researched for the 2024 New Partner Report, Bradley was one of 82 firms to achieve the “Tipping the Scales” recognition.
