Bradley Announces New Practice Group Leadership Appointments

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (Jan. 7, 2026) – Bradley is pleased to announce new leadership appointments in four of its practice groups: Bankruptcy & Creditors’ Rights, Corporate & Securities, Intellectual Property, and Tax.
 
The new practice group leaders are:

• James Blake Bailey – Bankruptcy & Creditors’ Rights
• Danny Feltham – Corporate & Securities
• Ryan J. Letson – Intellectual Property
• Will T. Thistle, II – Tax

Mr. Bailey is a partner in the Birmingham office who has experience with both debtor and creditor representation in bankruptcy, out-of-court workouts and restructurings, and bankruptcy-related litigation. He also regularly represents commercial lenders and mortgage servicers in federal court litigation. His creditor bankruptcy practice involves representing commercial lenders in business bankruptcy cases under Chapters 7 and 11 of the Bankruptcy Code and in individual cases of commercial loan obligors under Chapters 7, 11, and 13.
 
Mr. Feltham is a partner in the Birmingham office who advises privately held and publicly traded companies on a broad range of transactional matters, particularly M&A, private equity and venture capital transactions, joint ventures, corporate reorganizations, and general corporate matters. He supports clients through all stages of growth and routinely represents investors and founders in capital raises, portfolio company acquisitions, and exits.
 
A partner in the Huntsville office, Mr. Letson focuses his practice on intellectual property and technology matters. He handles patent and trademark prosecution before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and represents clients in proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. He also assists clients in disputes involving patents and other intellectual property in federal and state courts.
 
Mr. Thistle is a partner in the Birmingham office. He practices primarily in the areas of federal, state, and local taxation. He regularly counsels public and private businesses on Alabama tax matters, with an emphasis on sales, use, and property taxes. A significant portion of his practice involves representing taxpayers in all phases of tax controversy, including audits, administrative hearings, and litigation.
