BBB North Alabama Promotes Shiree Lane-Griffin to Vice President of Operations
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – BBB North Alabama is pleased to announce the promotion of Shiree Lane-Griffin to Vice President of Operations. Lane-Griffin previously served as Director of Accredited Businesses and Sales, where she demonstrated exceptional leadership, strengthened relationships with Accredited Businesses, and supported the organization’s mission of advancing marketplace trust throughout North Alabama.
Lane-Griffin succeeds Belinda McCormick, who recently retired after 31 years of dedicated service to BBB North Alabama.
“Shiree’s experience, leadership, and commitment to our Accredited Businesses made her a natural choice for this position,” said Karen Reeves, President and CEO of BBB North Alabama. “She has consistently demonstrated her ability to lead with integrity, support our team, and strengthen relationships across our service area. We are proud to recognize her contributions through this well-earned promotion and look forward to the dedication she will bring to this role.”
Lane-Griffin joined BBB North Alabama in 2020 as a Business and Consumer Specialist. She was promoted to Director of Accredited Businesses and Sales in 2023, a position she held until assuming her new role as Vice President of Operations on Monday, Aug. 3, 2026.
As Vice President of Operations, Lane-Griffin will oversee daily operations, support strategic initiatives, and help strengthen services for Accredited Businesses and consumers.
“I am excited to step into this role and continue serving our Accredited Businesses, consumers, and communities,” Lane-Griffin said. “My goal is to continue building meaningful partnerships, fostering collaboration, and ensuring BBB North Alabama remains a trusted resource for businesses and consumers alike.”
BBB North Alabama also recognizes McCormick for the significant impact she made during her more than three decades with the organization.
“Belinda’s 31 years of service represent an extraordinary commitment to BBB North Alabama and its mission,” Reeves said. “We are deeply grateful for the knowledge, leadership and dedication she shared with our organization, our Accredited Businesses and the communities we serve. We wish her all the best in her retirement.”
