Farm Livin on Park Avenue Gala 2025

My name is Robin Kramer and I am the CEO and Owner of Next Step Farms and I am reaching out to ask for your partnership and support in continuing our mission to provide a safe place where adults with cognitive disabilities can learn and grow.   

Next Step Farms provides a hands-on program for adults living with intellectual and developmental disabilities, using a small family farm-based theme.   The farm is a safe and nurturing place where they learn the independent daily living skills that assist them to live meaningful and purposeful lives.  Our clients are growing and learning through the opportunities on the farm, as well as through continual engagement with our community.    Every day they are learning, as well as teaching every one of us, that they are valuable and important citizens whose lives matter and that they make important contributions to society.

This year, we are hosting our second fundraising Gala, “Farm Livin’ on Park Avenue” to be held at Stovehouse in Huntsville on November 1.  Last year, our first Gala was a smashing success and we are planning an even bigger, more entertaining evening this time.  We are planning for 350-400 local donors and “Friends of the Farm” and would love to be able to highlight SAIC as one of our corporate sponsors.  Funds from this gala will be used to meet operating expenses as well as continue the construction of our classroom expansion.

Attached is the sponsorship matrix, which outlines the different levels of giving.  New this year is the pre-gala event (for Silver sponsorships and above) for sponsors to come to the farm and witness firsthand the incredible things that are happening here, while networking with other “Friends of the Farm” and enjoying a marvelous evening of food and entertainment.
