About Us
Association of Unmanned Vehicle, Inc (AUVSI), Pathfinder Chapter, (AUVSI Pathfinder) is celebrating over 28 years as a Chapter in 2017. The Pathfinder Chapter was formed in 1989, and is the oldest chapter in AUVSI. The Chapter was formed to educate and guide the development and integration of both ground and aerial unmanned systems (Drones). Primary methods for sharing this education process, is the annual conference/symposium, providing grants to K-12 Robotics and STEM education activities and standing up the first and only University level Chapter at UAH.
