About Us

The Oak Place (also known as the Steele-Fowler House) is a historic residence in Huntsville, Alabama. It was built in 1840 by renowned Huntsville architect George Steele. This 4-acre property, which has been renamed The Venue at Oak Place, is less than two miles from downtown. It is a beautiful space for weddings, receptions, corporate functions, fundraisers, and special events. The venue features a unique blend of historical and modern elements. It is an ideal setting for creating an unforgettable event.
