About Us
Located in Studio 106 at Lowe Mill A&E, The Cigar Box Guitar Store is the only brick-and-mortar store specializing in CBGs in the world. Our handmade instruments are playable art with exotic hardwoods, wood inlays and one-of-a-kind designs. Tuned to Open G, our 3 string guitars are easy for beginners to learn, while advanced guitarists can play them in more complex ways. We also offer build-your-own CBG classes with lessons for team building events and school programs. We also organize the World’s Longest-Running Cigar Box Guitar Festival, raising funds for music in local schools.
