The Southern Development Council, Inc., is a non-bank lender that assists business owners in the purchase of commercial real estate and/or machinery and equipment. Projects range in size from $100,000 to $20+ million. Working with our local bank partners, we provide up to 90% financing long-term at a below market, fixed interest rate and, usually, with no requirement of additional collateral beyond the fixed assets being purchased. For the past 5 years we have been the highest volume Certified Development Company in Alabama.
