About Us
When NAIDA began, North Alabama was known for its agricultural roots and had few industrial employment opportunities for its residents. As of 2016, more than 1,200 manufacturing facilities from an array of industries thrive in the area. Currently, North Alabama offers industrial employment in advanced manufacturing, aerospace/defense, automotive, bio-tech, chemical, metal working, plastics, and woodworking.
Through the cohesive collaboration in North Alabama, NAIDA has matured into a multifaceted development association that can successfully assist companies and site location consultants.
