About Us
The Baron Critical Weather Institute (Institute) is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to
advancing critical weather research, education, and public safety across Alabama.
In addition, the Institute will open a $2 million, groundbreaking STEM-
based “How We Know the Weather” exhibit at the U.S. Space and
Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama, in February of 2025.
