About Us

The Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services (ADRS) is the state agency whose primary responsibility is assisting children, teenagers and adults with disabilities. ADRS services are provided through 33 community-based offices, reaching residents in all 67 counties. Unique in the nation, the department provides a continuum of services from birth through old age for Alabamians with disabilities.
