About Us
Public health is about protecting people's health and well-being. The mission of the Madison County Health Department is to prevent illness and injury, promote good health practices, and keep the environment clean. We offer childhood immunizations, Family Planning and Plan First services, WIC (Women, Infants & Children) supplemental nutrition program, tuberculosis surveillance and treatment, sexually transmitted disease testing and treatment and health education services.
