Blue Oak BBQ was started in 2012. The drinks were flowing, and the crowds were forming at Grits and Chickie Wah Wah. A pop-up was born. We made some slow and low smoked meats – St. Louis-style ribs, Texas-style brisket, Alabama-style pulled pork, smoked chicken wings, and house-made smoked sausage. Before we knew it, we had our own ‘cue community.
In 2016, we planted our flag in Mid-City, New Orleans to bring you the finest smoked meats, sandwiches, sides and more for lunch and dinner. There’s cocktails (the frozen kind, the stirred & boozy kind, really all the kinds) and an extensive craft beer list to round it all out.
Now we're open in Huntsville's Mid City and ready to meet all your BBQ needs. Come visit today!
