MEMBER EVENT: WEDC Leadership Development Meeting
Join the Women's Economic Development Council of Huntsville (WEDC) for their monthly meeting titled, “The Power of the Pen: Capturing Who We Are & How We Lead,” a powerful, interactive midyear experience designed to help you reflect, realign, and recommit to how you lead.
You’ll hear directly from WEDC leadership on our journey so far and set the tone for a strong, aligned second half of the year. We’re also super excited to explore the power of journaling as a leadership and life tool with special guest Miriam Ezell, whose work is aimed at guiding you toward greater clarity, purpose, and intentional living.
P.S. Remember those beautiful bingo cards from January? Bring yours because it’s time to start screaming “bingo!” And don’t worry if you don’t have one, we’ll bring a few extras since it’s never too late to get started.
Key Takeaways:
- Gain clarity on your leadership or personal journey and identify what’s working… and what needs to shift.
- Reconnect with your goals and intentions for the second half of the year.
- Learn how journaling can strengthen your focus, decision-making, and personal growth as a leader.
About Our Speaker:
Miriam “Mimi” Ezell is a journaling advocate, leadership coach, and author of In Quiet, Come Answers. For the past 17 years, she has facilitated journaling workshops designed to help women slow down, get quiet, and uncover the answers they need for both personal and professional growth. Her work encourages deeper self-development, intentional living, and meaningful transformation.
Miriam became a member of WEDC in 2013 and served on both the WEDC and WEDC Foundation Boards, including many years as Treasurer. Nowadays, you can catch her creating away in her art room, crafting beautiful lap quilts for women coming out of abusive situations.
