MEMBER EVENT: Trailblaze Challenge - Step Into Adventure
26.3 miles. One life-changing day. A season of fun and adventure that will change your life. Whether you’re a seasoned hiker or completely new to the trails, this experience is tailored to fit you. Over 12 weeks, you’ll train, learn, and grow, preparing for an unforgettable weekend on the scenic Pinhoti Trail.
The Trailblaze Challenge is more than just a hike – it’s a full training program that culminates in a weekend experience designed to push your limits, connect you with nature, and bring you closer to a community of adventurers, all while raising funds to grant life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses in Alabama.
How It Works:
- Training: Enjoy 12 weeks of guided training hikes with experienced trail support.
- Gear Clinics: Learn everything you need to know to gear up for success.
- The Big Day: Hike 26.3 miles in one unforgettable day, complete with food, water, aid stations, and medical support along the way.
It all begins with this free info session in January. You’ll meet past participants, learn about the experience, and have all your questions answered—no pressure, just an opportunity to explore.

- Weekend 1: May 2–4, 2025 (hike on May 3)
