MEMBER EVENT: The Leadership Tightwalk – Candor & Compassion in Balance

The Leadership Tightrope: Candor and Compassion in Balance is a two-hour, interactive leadership lab designed for professionals who want to communicate honestly, lead with empathy, and navigate difficult conversations without damaging trust.

Grounded in principles from John Maxwell, alongside insights from Radical Candor and Dare to Lead, this lab creates a thoughtful and engaging space for participants to explore one of leadership’s most challenging tensions: telling the truth while caring deeply for people.

Rather than lectures, the lab uses interactive exercises, real-world scenarios, guided reflection, and peer dialogue to explore how leaders can avoid the common pitfalls of being either too blunt or too accommodating.

Participants will examine how they currently show up in moments that require both honesty and care, and practice navigating conversations where the stakes—and emotions—are high.

This experience is fun, energizing, and highly practical. It is designed to stretch communication skills while building confidence in handling feedback, conflict, and accountability with both clarity and compassion.
