MEMBER EVENT: The Great Diaper Drive

WHNT News 19, Rocket City Mom, and iHeartMedia Huntsville host this annual effort. We reached a new milestone last year with the formation of The Diaper Bank at the Food Bank of North Alabama – a first ever bank of its kind in the Tennessee Valley.

How You Can to Help:

• Make a personal donation now. The Great Diaper Drive 2017 runs October 9–19. During that time, you can donate new packages of diapers or wipes at Walmart locations and at other pop-up donation points across the Tennessee Valley.
• Make a donation on Blitz Day. Even better, bring diapers directly to our big “Blitz Day” on October 19. We’ll be live all day at a local Walmart all day that day.
• Host a "Diaper Shower" benefiting The Great Diaper Drive. You can host a shower at the office, home, church or wherever your friends gather. Need inspiration? We have downloadable invitations, customizable poster, and social media evites for Twitter, Facebook & Instagram. You can also go digital with an Amazon collection drive! • All sizes are needed. Overnight diapers and pull-ups for older children are always in especially high demand.
