Join our panel of experts as we discuss the challenges of balancing employee access to secure information that organizations face in today's connected world. We will examine the NSA’s breach by defense contractor Edward Snowden to present best practices for securing against the insider threat while still allowing employees to do their job.
Dr. Hovermale, an NSA employee when the Snowden incident occurred, will discuss how the NSA’s organizational cybersecurity policies allowed Snowden to extract so much data. In addition, he will also examine the ethics of Snowden’s actions and discuss whether Snowden's actions were patriotic or treasonous.
We will then transition to discussing best practices in guarding against an insider threat to cybersecurity and information assets of an organization.
