Mother’s Day on Whitaker Preserve with John Ehinger
(1.5 hours / Easy walk in grasslands)
Get your one of your favorite ladies outdoors and introduce her to the wonderful world of birding. The Land Trust of North Alabama is now a preservation partner and manages the Whitaker Preserve for The Nature Conservancy in Alabama. John Ehinger is an enthusiastic birdwatcher, hiker, bicyclist, and paddler. The retired editorial page editor of The Huntsville Times, John wrote a regular birding column for the newspaper and offered an online birding blog at al.com. We’ll be searching for grassland birds.
