The Little Green Store and Gallery invites you to “Bloom,” an art exhibit and reception featuring Lucy Thomas. Spring has sprung, and there is no better place to see it than in her newest show.
Thomas' favorite subject are flowers and flower arrangements that she makes at her day job as a florist. Debuting several new pieces, she primarily focuses on florals and uses what she calls “happy” saturated colors that pop off of the canvas. Thomas says, “I get a great deal of joy from creating these pieces and I hope that you can get a bit of that same joy when you look at my work.”
Lucy Thomas is participating in The Little Green Store and Gallery’s newest program, Art Gives. She created beautiful note cards using the artwork from her newest pieces and will be selling them at the exhibit. A percentage of the proceeds will benefit The Little Orange Fish Project.
Guests at the show will also have the opportunity to help Thomas create her newest masterpiece. Everyone will be encouraged to leave their own personal mark on a canvas that she will later finish and donate to a silent auction benefiting The Little Orange Fish Project.
