Join us the third Wednesday of the month for Lowe Mill Out Loud! Beginning at 6 p.m., there will be an open mic for all wishing to participate, where speakers will be able to have 5 minutes to share their work, or a cover poem of their choosing. Then we will have a half an hour feature with Sara Bowen!
A potter and poet from south Alabama, Sara Bowen writes of muddy riverbanks, loss, and living with the past. She’s currently living, writing and making pottery in Huntsville from her studio on the Flying Monkey floor of Lowe Mill.
Lowe Mill Out Loud is dedicated to fostering new voices and encouraging participation, so even if you have never been to an open mic before, please come on down and hear some new interesting voices and share!
