Presenter Samantha Brinkley: Samantha Brinkley is the CEO of Rocket City HR Consulting. She earned a B.A. Degree in Psychology from the University of Virginia and an M.A. in Psychology from Chapman University. She currently holds the designation of Senior Certified Professional by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-SCP). Ms. Brinkley served as a Personnel Officer in the United States Air Force where she attained the rank of Captain and earned two Air Force Organizational Excellence Awards. She worked as the Sacramento (California) Police Department’s Personnel Services Division Manager and led the team to earn a Distinguished Unit Citation. In 2011, she founded Rocket City HR, an organization that has helped countless businesses, non-profit organizations, and individuals. Ms. Brinkley is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the North Alabama Society for Human Resource Management (NASHRM). She has served as Board President of the Catalyst Center for Business & Entrepreneurship and is currently serving as Secretary for the Women’s Economic Development Council (WEDC) and Vice President of Membership for the Tennessee Valley Toastmasters Club. She is a member of the Village of Promise Advisory Council. She is a proud graduate of the 2018 National Cohort of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program.
