Join us for Contracts 101 to learn the basics of contracts when dealing with the federal government. Learn the different types of contracts and the meaning of various government acronyms. What is the acquisition budget process? What is an appropriation? What is the difference between a FAR-based contract and an OTA contract? Instructor:
Marsha Wells is a manager in the BMSS government contracting department. She has over 20 years of experience with local government contractors in various contracting roles throughout her career. Marsha is known for implementing corporate compliance processes and effectively implementing win-win solutions. The nature of her present work includes government contract compliance, negotiation of fair terms and conditions and acting as a liaison between government and technical performance for government contractors.
