Do you speak another language? Get FREE training and become an AshaKiran paid Interpreter! Our Multi-Language Access Model (MLAM) is a free training for multi-lingual individuals who want to become Language Advocates.
Certification encompasses 54 hours of classroom and other instruction in specialized interpreting, language advocacy and cultural competency. Upon completion, graduates will have opportunities for paid compensation as AshaKiran Language Advocates — and fulfillment from helping those in need.
As an AshaKiran Language Advocate, you will provide support to Limited English Proficiency (LEP) individuals who are experiencing crisis situations, require local services, or are attempting to navigate the legal system. Your support and guidance in their native language can make a world of difference to them.

We focus on assisting individuals from multicultural backgrounds that are experiencing crises such as domestic violence & sexual assault including a focus on developmental disabilities.
