Local artisan Dean Shroka will be at Harrison Brothers on September 6 for a meet and greet! Dean is a local blacksmith and knife maker. He has been an amputee since he was nine months old, informing the name of his business, Severed Metal Works. He says he shares this detail about himself as a message that no matter what situation someone may be in, with determination anything is achievable.
Dean has learned to grind through adversity and adapt to situations to achieve his goals – including his goal to create metal works capable of handling any task. He has mastered not only blacksmithing but also woodworking, sheath making, and leather work. His knives are works of art, each one uniquely designed and made – no two are alike.
If you are searching for a special gift for the outdoorsman or collector, a Severed Metal Works knife would be perfect – so come meet Dean and check out his knives!
