What does domestic violence in Asian homes look like? What types of sexual assault are Asian women and girls vulnerable to? How do culture and family influence help-seeking? AshaKiran's annual Cultural Competency in Crisis Intervention (CCCI) Workshop will address the contexts and dynamics of domestic violence, sexual assault & family violence, the community norms that influence attitudes towards abuse and build on this understanding to identify culturally competent interventions that mitigate barriers and address the needs of Asian survivors.
