Foundations of Capability (June 28-29, 2021)
If you would like to gain an understanding of the model and the business value that it provides, this course is for you. This course teaches you the fundamentals of implementing CMMI v2.0 in your organization and gives you a basic understanding of the core content of the new CMMI v2.0. It is expected that you will follow this course with one or more supplemental classes – Building Development Excellence and/or Building Services Excellence.

• The Foundations of Capability plus the Building Development Excellence classes are required to participate as an appraisal team member in a CMMI v2.0 Development appraisal.
• The Foundations of Capability plus the Building Service Excellence classes are required to participate as an appraisal team member in a CMMI v2.0 Services appraisal.
• These classes are also recommended for those playing a key role in an organization planning to adopt CMMI 2.0 and serve as a prerequisite for any advanced CMMI training course.
