MEMBER EVENT: Biergarten Stein & Dine!
The U.S. Space & Rocket Center’s Biergarten season rockets to a start March 16. The kickoff for this popular, family-friendly event is jam-packed as the Rocket Center celebrates its 53rd birthday and St. Patrick’s Day all in one night.
The Rocket Center opened March 17, 1970. Along with the birthday festivities, this Biergarten night includes a special guest – a massive monster truck from the Monster Jam tour coming to Huntsville. The new Huntsville City Football Club will also be on hand to make a special announcement about its first season in the Rocket City. As always, Biergarten features authentic German food, imported brews and live music.
This season, the Rocket Center is also bringing back its partnership with local charities. Non-profits may apply to take part in Biergarten and to receive a portion of the proceeds from their designated evening by visiting rocketcenter.com. Biergarten takes place weekly at the Davidson Center for Space Exploration from this kickoff event to October.
