Sameer Singhal is president and CEO of CFD Research, where he leads the company’s strategic vision and growth, guiding its mission to transform cutting-edge R&D into real-world solutions across defense, aerospace, energy, and life sciences. Since joining the company in 2008 and becoming CEO in 2016, he has built on a diverse leadership background that also includes seven years at Nitronec Corporation, a venture-backed semiconductor startup, helping advance early-stage technologies to commercial launch.
Singhal holds a Bachelor of Science from Georgia Tech and a Master of Science from Stanford University, both in Materials Science and Engineering, and is the author of more than 30 peer-reviewed publications with eight issued patents and eight pending. He is deeply engaged in the Huntsville business community, including service as 2024 Board Chair of the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber and active involvement in the region’s GovCon ecosystem, and winner of the 2025 Russell G. Brown Leadership Award.
