2021 Virtual ASmartPlace on the Road - IVMF VetNet

Join ASmartPlace on the Road virtually as we partner with the Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF). We will get to speak to current transitioning service members going through their O2O program as well as veterans in their VetNet. These candidates will be located across the country.

Companies: this is a great opportunity to showcase your company and job openings to both transitioning service members and veterans. Each company will have two minutes to give an elevator pitch about their company. Make sure to include jobs you are hiring for! We are limiting this event to only 15 companies.

IVMF is a research institution housed at Syracuse University. It was launched in June 2011 to bring together several pre-existing veteran-related institutes at the University. Their Onward to Opportunity (O2O) program is a free career training program that provides professional certification and employee support services to transitioning service members, veterans and military spouses. O2O combines industry-validated curricula, strong partnerships with leading veteran service organizations and private sector companies, and comprehensive career coaching services.
